Egypt take on Argentina challenge


·    Argentina have a perfect record against Egypt at the World Cup, winning all previous four meetings (1985, 1995, 2007, 2011).
·    Their last international meeting came at the 2011 World Cup, when Argentina won in straight sets.
·    Argentina and Egypt have met a total of six times in major international tournaments. Aside from their World Cup match-ups they met twice at world championships. Argentina won both meetings by 3-1 (1978, 2006).

·    Egypt are suffering a 13-match losing streak in the World Cup. They are one shy of their negative team record of 14 set in 1977-1995.
·    They have won seven sets so far in the 2015 World Cup. Only in 2007 they won more (13).
