FIVB and JVA to host Anti-Doping Outreach Programme

 

The FIVB and JVA will host an anti-doping outreach programme during the World Cup

Lausanne, Switzerland, September 17, 2015 – The FIVB and Japanese Volleyball Federation will run an Anti-Doping Outreach Programme at the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Cup from September 19-20. 

The Anti-Doping Outreach Programme will be conducted in collaboration with the Japan Anti-Doping Authority (JADA) and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA). Participants will include players, coaches, managers and medical staff. The aim of the programme is to improve knowledge of anti-doping.

A short interactive session will provide valuable information on anti-doping as well as a presentation of useful tools to enhance the knowledge of the participants on this important topic. Participants will also be able to put their questions to the FIVB medical delegate and representatives of the Japan Anti-Doping Authority.
