Captain - Saeid Marouf 

Saeid Marouf began playing volleyball professionally at age 17 in Urmia, Iran. Individual awards include being named Best Setter at three events – the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Qualification Tournaments and the 2010 Asian Cup. He would go one better at the 2013 Asian Championships, as he was named Best Setter and Most Valuable Player. A year later he would collect a gold medal at the 2014 Asian Games, and in the same year was named Best Setter at the 2014 World League. At club level he played for Russian side Zenit Kazan in the Russian Super League during 2015. 

He is a veteran of two World Championships and is known as Agha-ye khas, which translates as Mr Special. Even in his spare time sport is never far away from his thoughts, as he enjoys playing football and tennis. He speaks three languages - English, Farsi and Turkish. 

Star player - Seyed Mohammad Mousavi Eraghi

Seyed Mohammad Mousavi Eraghi started playing volleyball at age eight in Dzeful, Iran. His father was a physical education teacher and introduced him to the sport. 

Mousavi Eraghi was named Best Blocker at the 2013 and 2014 Asian Club Championship and 2010 Club World Championships in Doha, Qatar. He was named Best Blocker when winning a silver medal at the 2009 Asian Championship, but would go on to win gold medals at the competition in 2011 and 2013. His other individual awards include being named Best Blocker at the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Qualification Tournaments and the 2010 Asian Games, where he finished with a silver medal. 

He played at the 2010 World Championship, 2011 World Cup and in the 2013 and 2014 World League. Most recently he was in the Iran team that finished third in Pool B of the Group 1 Intercontinental Round at the 2015 World League.
